We did it 🤘

The first Intro to Letterpress: Thank You Cards class was awesome! We talked letterpress history, set up the presses, mixed lots of fun colors, printed, scored and trimmed.

Judy, Lara and Mary have loads of cards and envelopes for all their letter writing needs.

Stay tuned for details on future workshop opportunities. 🌈

I am proud 🌈 to share my recent poster design for The Texas Rangers.

As more of an art person than a sports person, I focused on the joyful aspects of attending a baseball game: the action, fandom, team merchandise, equipment, and, of course, hot dogs!

Each illustration features a combination of cut-paper shapes, inky brushstrokes, and gritty textures. All lettering is hand-drawn. Great job, ,for executing this limited edition (100 qty) 5-color silkscreen beautifully!

HUGE thanks to and for inviting me to participate. Signing day, touring Globe Life Field, and walking on the field was an incredible experience! This project has been a bright spot for me recently, and I look forward to taking on more projects like this.

Friends and I attended the June 1 game of this series, and The Rangers WON!!!

All net proceeds benefit The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation, which is dedicated to improving the lives of those in the community, especially children, military, first responders, and their families, through meaningful programming and partnerships focused on education, health, and athletics.

Pantry Drawing No. 7

This tiny jewel box of a tin contains yuzu shichimi red pepper. I purchased it at Muji in NYC but have never used it. If I’m honest I’m not sure what to do with it. Comment or DM me with ideas.

I set out to create this drawing like a silkscreen print. Meaning I limited myself to three colors or three screens and drew each on its own layer in Procreate. As with most things, this turned out nothing like I thought it would but I’m pleased with the final product.

Let me know if you have any pantry items you’d like drawn. I’d love to create illustrations like this for clients or commissions.

Also…these images are protected by Glaze. THANK YOU, , for providing this invaluable service to illustrators and image makers.
