So I asked, “ Is this a master or a guest bath we’re talking about?”. — “Master”. — “Don’t even think about it.” I strongly advised her to hold off on the front area and wait until they’re ready to consider planning for the Master Bath. Dallas homeowners — quick question.

If you could add one space to your house, what would it be?

We’re currently working on a project in Old Lake Highlands where the homeowners wanted two things: a better bathroom and a real laundry space.

So we designed a ~220 sq-ft bathroom + laundry addition with a new rear gable roof that ties into the existing house.

Before we build anything, we spend time working through the plans — layout, roof tie-ins, windows, and how the addition will blend with the existing home.

Curious what others would choose if they had the option:
