There is nothing better than that first reaction to something you’ve created with your own hands. Cory and I have attended all of the Wilton classes on cake decorating, and have figured out a lot of things on our own. He likes to do the baking: creating new flavors and combinations. I like to decorate: topping his tasty creations with beautiful colors and patterns.

Tried a new-to-me technique for holiday goodies. Peppermint buttercream trees on pre-made brownies.

Using eggs, flour, buttermilk and cocoa, I created a beautiful monument to grace, love, and faithfulness. I have never created using the techniques I chose, and the Goddess stood by me while I worked. The bride and groom were thrilled.
