April 24: Happy 22nd Wedding Anniversary to my sweet husband, Gabor! It was a wonderful day full of surprises and kindness, ending to see my ole friend (Wide Open Spaces) with for a fantastic show. Gabor and David Card had secretly added my photo to the wall in the Guy Clark green room as the final touch. Looking forward to many more years to come! ❤️🎶

In the summer of 2019, we traveled to Kenya with friends and family for a safari—an unforgettable experience that later inspired the East Kessler Park Music Safari. When COVID hit and live music disappeared, this was my solution. Instead of gathering in one place, the audience could wander from house to house, discovering musicians “in their natural habitats,” playing on front porches along the way.

What began as a temporary solution has taken on a life of its own, and we’ve now hosted our 10th event - still going strong. Thanks to all that came out to support this neighborhood fundraiser, and we look forward to the next one!
