If you had to name one character trait indispensable to human leadership in the past year, what would it be?
Some might argue: resilience.

Kevin Sowers, president of Johns Hopkins Health System, puts it concisely: “Resilience … is about how we acknowledge, respond to, and rise above chaos, and how we act on the other side of that disruption.”

So as a leader, how can you amp up your level of resilience on purpose in order to better lead your teams?

By looking for the value in the experience. Taking the time to pinpoint how your organization may have changed in the last year can inform the decisions you make this year.

Resilience, resilience, resilience. For so many of the leaders I work with in my role at infinity CXC, it’s become the mantra of the times.

When life throws dung at you, use it as manure.

It’s been a rough and tough year. It has been a year to either comply or challenge the times. Very few would choose going bold - to go where common sense would cringe.
