This past Juneteenth, was honored to provide audiovisual support and an SL100 for the annual Opal Lee Walk at the African American Museum of Dallas.
Every year, crowds join Ms. Opal Lee as she completes her annual 2.5-mile walk. This distance remembers the 2.5 years it took for the news and enforcement of freedom to reach the enslaved people in Texas. She keeps walking yearly to educate our nation on the importance of understanding that freedom is for everyone.
The impact of the Opal Lee Walk on our community is immeasurable, and we are proud to be a part of such a vital and special event.
