I founded FiftyFlowers more than 20 years ago to help bring stunning, farm-fresh flowers to everyone in a unique and creative way that disrupts the flower industry for the better. After working with local business leaders and farmers during my time in the Peace Corps, I fell in love with the beauty, joy and enchantment flowers bring to the world. It inspired me to create FiftyFlowers, the first-of

This quote always gets me, “The meaning of life is to find your gift.
The purpose of life is to give it away.”
– Pablo Picasso

I’ve spent decades building.
Taking risks. Learning (mostly the hard way).

Growing companies from scratch. Leading teams through storms and success.

And now?
It’s time to give it away.

The knowledge.
The strategy.
The truth behind what it really takes to build something that lasts.

Reaching the top means nothing if you keep the lessons to yourself.
So in this next chapter, I’m sharing it all. Through speaking, writing, mentoring… lifting others with what I’ve lived.

Why? Because I believe in impact over ego. And I know one thing for sure:

When we give boldly and build generously,
Anything can bloom.
….and in 2026 let’s all bloom together!

One of my favorite quotes: “Fear? Who cares.” spoken by Gloria Steinem.

At first, it sounds trivial and light…. but if you think about it you’ll feel the power in it.

There’s a hint of rebellion,
a slice of freedom,
a reminder that fear doesn’t get to be the author of our story.

Fear shows up for all of us.
But courage is choosing not to let it lead.

Most of the defining moments in my life and business have been wrapped in fear.

But instead of letting fear paralyze me, I choose courage over comfort.

I choose to keep moving, one step at a time, even when it feels shaky and uncertain.

And the truth?
Those moments are when my biggest growth happened.

Believing in yourself is the first step to bridging the gap between what you want and what you will create.
And fear?
It doesn’t need to be loud.
It doesn’t need to lead.
Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is treat fear with silence… and move anyway.

Because when you do that
Anything can bloom

Yeah… my Aggies(class of ’92) lost the big game against Texas Longhorns.

But I won a 40 hours full of fun, connection, and big laughs with my sister and brother-in-law (who, by the way, played for Texas ’88 to 91). I was the only Aggie in our section, nestled deep in Longhorn territory and surrounded by former Texas players.

But here’s the thing: not once did I think about turning the horns down or booing for when things went wrong. I clapped for the Aggies’ wins and the Longhorns’ wins.

Because it’s not about shaming others when they’re winning.

It’s about cheering on good humans, even when the rivalry runs deep.

Yes, winning the trophy feels great.
But you know what else feels just as good?

Being a kind human. Showing up. Trying. Respecting the game.

That’s what makes the game, and life, so good.

Big love. Big energy. Good sportsmanship.

And always, always showing up with joy and Gratitude.

That’s when anything can bloom!
