oil pastels are becoming my fav i’m about to order more they end so fast

When your little artists are already talented the only thing you do is guide them and show them newer techniques on how to enhance their skills 😎
Today was a bit tricky but they didn’t give up and I’m so proud of them for getting past the tough obstacles 💪🏾💜 That’s what makes an artist an artist.

All three of them display amazing qualities within. I have a Leader, a Problem solver & a Resilient warrior that doesn’t quit when it gets tough. I really love these kids 🥹

Here’s what we learned today:

• Painting with gouache
• Painting in perspective
•The further away an object, the smaller in scale the object will be & lighter it will be in hue
•The closer the object the bigger in scale & darker the hue will be
• If you mess up or simply don’t like how it’s turning out, it can be fixed (you just have to use your creativity)
•Cry it out but get back up and keep going; trust the process

My Art Sale this weekend went great!!!💜 Though I had a small set back; I didn’t let that stop me from my goal. I stayed, prevailed, & learned a lot! I also met some wonderful people who were so kind and encouraging 🥹 So I say that to say Thank You 🫶🏾

And thank you to my family who supported me 💜

Ps..That wind this weekend was absolutely vicious and had no remorse for anyone 😂😭

Pps..Chase your dreams and never quit on yourself even when the going gets rough. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise 👩🏾‍🎨

👩🏾‍🎨 My little artists did such an amazing job yesterday with following along 💜 And we have a new addition to the class as well !! I’m so happy they’re having fun with classes. Cant wait until next Saturday 🥰
