The return of Bangkok Inn’s special Asian Italian fusion 4-course dinner series is finally here!

Thai Trattoria pays homage to the long-forgotten Italian restaurant Trattoria P.J, a business venture in which Joon, her father, and his close friend teamed up to transform one of the two Bangkok Inn locations into an Italian restaurant. Trattoria P.J. was unfortunately unsuccessful and resulted in the closure of the family’s second restaurant.
Now, decades later, Chef Daisy plans on taking back the narrative of her family’s failed restaurant by bringing back Trattoria PJ as a reimagined pop-up dinner incorporating Thai and other Asian ingredients to create a special Italian fusion menu.

The Menu:
1st Course - Zucchini Ribbon Salad
Thinly sliced zucchini and squash ribbons dressed in a Thai laab dressing with fresh herbs and parmesan

2nd Course - Sausage and Ricotta Wontons
Wontons stuffed with Italian sausage and ricotta cheese served in gochugaru chili oil

3rd Course - Braised Panang Pork Penne
Penne pasta in a creamy panang curry vodka sauce with braised pork

4th Course - Thai Tea-iramisu
Thai Tea dipped ladyfingers layered with coconut mascarpone cream and topped with brown sugar boba

This event is BYOB and seating will be arranged as a communal table to create an intimate dining experience to help build community, fostering relationships both new and old. Seating will be very limited, so be sure to get your tickets early to reserve spots for you and anyone else in your party.
