Another day, another school board meeting.
Keller Independent School District is packed out as parents, students, and community members are addressing concerns.

- The district has drawn nationwide concern after canceling ‘laramie project’. The play about the 1998 murder of a gay college student.
- an evangelist film crew went on school grounds without permission
- parents and admin concerned over a Motel 6 being built next to an elementary school.

I got to get an exclusive look inside Marquez bakery 🧁 who will have a featured dish called the “3 Strike Lobster Roll” at tonight’s game. Only 60 will be made and you can get it at a whopping price of $250 (includes other items). I also met many officials including Arlington mayor. If you go you MUST try the Hispanic bread (it’s ranger colors today), and try Cafe de Ollo (it’s the only black coffee I will drink). Everything was so yummy, and the sweetest family owned business!!

I haven’t been active on my FB page for quiet sometime but I’ve gotten quite a few new Texas followers, so I thought I would say hello and introduce myself!
Hi 👋🏻 I’m Emily Pounds, I’m born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. I moved to Texas with my other half Forrest at the end of May and it’s really starting to feel like home! 🏡 I’m an Auburn fan (War Eagle 🦅) and have an obsession with my husky Goose! 🐶 I work for Spectrum News as a Multimedia Journalist (fancy word for solo news reporter), and have been in the broadcast industry for over 4 years now. I focus on Agriculture and Education, but contribute to other important topics as well! Give me a corn field or a board meeting and I’ll be there! 🌽
