For decades, Kelexis Davenport has been a beloved entertainer, mentor, and community icon whose influence has reached generations throughout Dallas and beyond. As the matriarch of the legendary Davenport family, whose roots trace back to the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas, she has helped shape the history of drag, pageantry, and LGBTQ+ culture through her leadership, talent, and unwavering dedication to her community.
