November is National Gratitude month. What better way is there, especially in this season of thanksgiving, to remind ourselves what an important role gratitude plays in our health and well-being. Practicing gratitude boosts your serotonin and dopamine neurotransmitters. It has also been linked to better sleep, improved immune function, and increased resiliency to stress.
I challenge you to take these next 30 days and write down 3 things you are grateful for each day. I promise when you look back over it all at the end of the month, not only will you see there is always something to be grateful for, you will feel it too.
