Hoy lo hice. 🦋
I gave the speech. Shaking hands, cracking voice, and all. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
I made the decision to deliver it fully in Spanish, porque nuestras familias merecen entender el mensaje. They have carried us this far, the least I could do was speak directly to their hearts.
I cried. Others cried. And honestly, That was never the plan, but it became everything.
To hear not just from my family and friends, but from parents and graduates coming up to me saying they felt seen, that they were proud, that my words moved them, I have no words for that. That is the whole reason. That is always the whole reason.
I did it scared. My voice cracked. My hands shook. And I would do it a thousand times over.
Gracias infinitas to Casa Latina for giving me the opportunity and the stage. For creating a space where our stories are not just welcomed they are celebrated. You reminded us all that we belong in every room we walk into.
To every person who felt something today, that was for you. It was always for you.

Today, on International Women’s Day, my heart is full.
I’m incredibly honored to be recognized as one of the Influential Women of 2026 from Dallas, TX, and this recognition feels even more meaningful after recently being named Female Entrepreneur of the Year.
When I started Monarccast, it came from a very personal place the desire to make the college journey clearer, more accessible, and less overwhelming for families, especially for students from diverse backgrounds who often have to navigate this path without a roadmap.
This work has never been just about me. It’s about the families who trust me with their college journey, the students who dare to dream big, and the community that believes education can transform generations.
I’m deeply grateful to Influential Women for recognizing me and the mission behind Monarccast. Being able to share this journey and amplify the impact we are making together is something I don’t take lightly.
Today I celebrate every WOMAN building something meaningful, lifting others up, and creating spaces where the next generation can THRIVE.
Here’s to courage, community, and continuing to open doors for those who come after us.
