Community Pulse 🎶
Deep Ellum Station will be one of DART’s first mobility hubs. This new concept will transform the area surrounding The Traveling Man sculptures into a fantastic space that reflects the neighborhood rich history as an arts and music hub.
DART wants your input on the final design! Join us at our community meeting from 6:30–8 p.m. at the Deep Ellum Community Center (2528 Elm St., Suite A, Dallas, TX 75226), where DART staff will present renderings, answer questions, and receive your feedback.

Fueling your Champions League watch party, one bite at a time.
The UEFA Champions League Final at Trinity Cider is proof that soccer is better with street food and cider.
Starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, Picadera is bringing authentic Dominican street food to one of the biggest matches of the year. Whether you're a die-hard soccer fan, showing up for the food, or just looking for a fun way to spend your Saturday morning, this is the kind of match day that turns into extra rounds, new friends, and staying long after the final whistle.

Start Memorial Day Weekend with drinks, good food, and a walk through Deep Ellum’s new international banner installation.
Check out the banners now lining Main Street all the way to Expo ⚽️
Installed across the neighborhood on Friday, the project features 180 banners representing all 48 participating countries in this summer’s global soccer tournament.
Created in partnership with the Deep Ellum Foundation and Visit Dallas, the banners were designed by artists Hatziel Flores, Daisuke Okamoto, Jessica Molina, Dan Colcer, Adriane Grey, and Selena Mize.
Each artist was assigned eight countries, with designs created through both digital illustration and hand-painted artwork.

Neighborhood Energy ⚡
Deep Ellum has always fostered live music and creative expression, though its earlier scene differed from today’s entertainment district. In the late ’80s and early ’90s,the neighborhood helped shape Tripping Daisy’s early years and creative identity. Before the final Dallas stop of the I Am An Elastic Firecracker anniversary tour, Tim DeLaughter reflects on Deep Ellum. Supporting local shows and creative spaces keeps that energy alive.

From blues history and Texas music references to handmade materials rooted in place, “Minor Regional Novelist” reflects the creative spirit that continues to define Deep Ellum and Texas as a whole. Catch the readings, performances, and exhibition before they close on May 23.
