After Seattle, we hit the 101 and ended up in this city. We’re not being rude.. they’re very proud of it. For example, in 1976 they became home to the world’s smallest public park. It’s 2 feet long.

This city was founded in 1842 and was almost named , were it not for a fortunate fortunate coin flip. If that’s not weird enough, it was founded next to a , which the locals love taking hikes on. Talk about playing with fire.

We ❤️ this city, though, for its thriving community, like the popular in this picture. There are 66 THOUSAND small businesses in their metro area, with about 11% of its workers being self-employed. Talk about a !

CONTEST TIME: After spending time in Austin, Gameplan heads to the coast for our 🚗

We needed some energy, and even though we prefer we had to stop in at the first ever location of America’s largest franchise. ☕️

From there, we walked a few yards down and saw some very theatrical fish mongers hard at work. 🐟

Despite the pandemic still raging on, it was encouraging to see so many wonderful at this market which opened its doors over 114 years ago!
