We couldn't be more grateful for last night's set. What a wild experience, will never forget this night. Massive thanks to everyone who came to support and to and for everything 💜

One good cure for writer's block when composing- try another artistic medium. This could be reading, writing, drawing, or even surfing thru the internet/pinterest for inspiring pieces of artwork that will open new doors within your mind.

This could also remain within the realm of music. Sit with your midi keyboard (or just use your computer keyboard) and play through all the daw instruments you haven't messed with before. Slap a fat reverb on whatever instrument and just sit and zone out in the lush tones that are flying around the room. Or just bust out that plugin you want to mess with but haven't had the time for. A lot of the times, a new plugin or toy can get me excited to get back in the daw, and that excitement is really all you need to get the gears turning again.

Another amazing cure for writer's block is making different genres. If I am stuck with dubstep, I usually go to some form of melodic electronic, could be garage-inspired, house, dnb, or something totally weird. The sound design/techniques you apply to the different genres will help you so much when you go back to the genre you were getting stuck on. You won't know until you try it 😁

We're over here trying to finish up a stack of Ocvlvs tracks and have jumped to the piano a few times to decompress/reset our brains, and it has been helping us a ton, so I felt like sharing this random rant haha. Hope you all are happily creating and having a blast on your musical journeys 💜

Still riding the highs from Flow Faire.... We couldn't be more grateful than we are at this point. To feel the support we felt this last weekend, being surrounded by family that we have worked alongside for years now and seeing everyone's dreams come true with one another is a true treat.

To get to share this experience on stage with David, my brother, is something I could have only dreamt of as a kid. You have taught me so much and made me a much better producer and human being. So glad to call you a part of Ocvlvs now David Lanius
