The Eagle has landed...In Vegas!

The ABC Eagle Award...Recognizing Excellence, Innovation, and the Highest Standards in Construction.

We were grateful to have received this honor at the Associated Builders and Contractors event at the National Convention held in City of Las Vegas!

Some thought this project had elements that were "impossible" to overcome, but with the right team anything can be accomplished!

Project details:

For the newly added Centennial Tower at the Houston Methodist expansion in Houston, Aggregate Technologies, Inc. was tasked with removing 15,000 square feet of concrete wall panels to allow for the new & impressive tower to tie into the existing hospital and 3D Design was chosen as the project engineer.

Working on swing stages off the side of the façade and coordinating with Vaughn Construction and multiple tower cranes, Aggregate Technologies, Inc. was able to remove these 12,000-pound wall sections over the top of the active hospital and onto trucks for disposal.

3D Design & Engineering, Inc. was pleased to partner with Aggregate Technologies, Inc. to tackle the structural and civil issues providing solutions to complete this project safely and smoothly.

By utilizing surveying tools, ground penetrating radar, electro magnetic locating and hydro vac pot holing, we can help define your easements and provide a clear bore path for your conduits; complete with a survey and construction drawings that include utility profiles. 3D Design has always been a fan of utilizing all tools and available technologies to increase accuracy and safety on the job site.
