From Energy to Ex*****on: Building Sustainable Supply Chains in a Changing World
As energy systems evolve and sustainability expectations accelerate, supply chains are being redefined across industries—nowhere more so than on the Houston Gulf Coast. Join ASCM Houston at Top Management Night 2026 for an urgent, practical conversation on how organizations can integrate energy sustainability into supply chain strategy without sacrificing resilience or performance.

From Industry to Ecosystem
In Houston, supply chains don’t just move goods—they help protect communities and ecosystems.
Along the Gulf Coast, our ports, energy networks, logistics hubs, and coastal wetlands are deeply interconnected. Those wetlands aren’t just environmental assets—they’re critical infrastructure, absorbing storm surge, reducing flood risk, and supporting the continuity our supply chains depend on.
Today’s supply chain leaders are navigating energy volatility, global disruptions, emissions pressure, and decarbonization—all at once. The challenge isn’t choosing between resilience, efficiency, or sustainability. It’s designing systems that deliver all three.
Houston is uniquely positioned to lead:
Cleaner, more digital port infrastructure
Lower‑carbon energy innovation
Data‑driven logistics that reduce waste and emissions
Sustainability is no longer a constraint—it’s a performance driver.
This Earth Day, supply chain professionals are being called to think beyond operations and act as architects of systems that shape economies, communities, and ecosystems.
From the Port of Houston to our wetlands and beyond—what we build, and what we preserve, matters. 🌱

Weather alert = my Supply Chain brain flipping from chill to mission-control in 0.2 seconds.
The “kick” kicks in:
reroute trucks, check safety stock, nudge vendors for early loadouts,
and turn contingency plans into action plans (with extra coffee).
Suddenly I’m mapping alternate lanes, clearing bottlenecks, and making spreadsheets sweat so the storm never sees our inventory queue.
Stay safe and warm
and to all our Supply Chain friends, we know you know! 😉
