2009 - Integral Movement for AB 540 Student Success (IMASS) decided to create a more institutionalized program for undocumented and AB 540 students

2011 - IMASS participated in the annual event mobilize.org - enter HEFAS as the proposal and won 1st place and $10,000 to start the program

2014 - grand opening of HEFAS office
