This weekend wrapped up our point season at NGQMA - North Georgia Quarter Midget Association. We got to run our new Ultimate QM XWing. Dad (Michael Myrick) and Papa gave me a great setup up and I drove the wheels off straight onto the pole starting position in batch qualifying.

The feature started out great taking the lead from the start and pulling away from the pack. With just a few laps in they caught up to me and I battled for first with another car but ended up getting caught up in a wreck trying to hold position. I could tell the car was off and ended up coming off the track with three laps to go and DNF.

Sunday we reset the chassis and changed some things on setup to test and got it dialed in for this coming weekend at the Cotton Classic. SO excited to be back at the track this weekend with my buddies and to battle it out one last time at our home track!

Points race 8 Thomas starting P4

A lot of yall probably know who my Papa is but I wanted to shout congratulations to him for his induction into the GRHOF. He is one of my biggest supporters and the person who instilled in me my love of racing.

Getting back home after a great weekend at the track for the first annual Bonfire Bash at NGQMA. we went into the weekend excited to be back at the track and ready for some fun in and out of the car. Pill drew for heat race starting order. Started P4 and quickly worked my way to P1 and won my heat. Started P1 in the feature and was able to hang on to position to bring home the victory. It felt great to be back in the car after a few weeks off for weather and vacation. Looking forward to the coming weeks and testing with my teammate Barrett 4th Gen Motorsports. A big thank you to my parents, grandparents, aunt and uncle, and the Barrett family for all of their help and support.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms.

Had some fun between test runs. Even got in an egg hunt with the Barrett brothers, my sister and my cousins.
