Silver City Elementary PTO

Silver City Elementary opened its doors 20 years ago, on Monday, August 7, 2006, to 661 students. Before the first day of school that year, the staff hosted an ice cream social to welcome families and the community to the new school. Well, in honor of our 20 year anniversary, we would like to kickoff this school year the same way we did back then…with an ice cream social on Sunday, July 26, from 6:30-7:30PM in our cafeteria.

We are inviting all current and former Silver City families and Comets to join us Sunday evening. Come say “hello” to current and past staff members, get pictures taken with former teachers and principals, and help us kickoff another 20 great years at The City!!

We will share an RSVP soon, so we will know who is swinging by for ice cream!

We are so thankful for our partnership with the Silver City PTO for sponsoring this event!

Hope to see you on the 26th!!

We love seeing your support in action! 💙

Thanks to our incredible school community, the PTO was able to contribute $10,000 toward new picnic tables, umbrellas, and games for the Comet Commons! You’ll now find updated spaces on both the K–2 and 3–5 sides of the building for students to enjoy.

Givebacks like this are only possible because of your participation in things like our fall fundraiser, efforts that truly benefit every student in our school. Thank you for being part of it!
