Part of the beauty of living in East Texas is all of the native plants and grasses that pop up this time of year around Turtle Pond Campground.
This fuzzy-looking plant is called Rabbitfoot Grass, and it is starting to show up around the campground near the pond and open grassy areas. The soft seed heads almost glow when the sun hits them in the evening.
It is always interesting seeing what nature decides to put on display each season around Turtle Pond.
If you are looking for a peaceful long-term RV park with room to spread out and enjoy nature, come see us.
