Cullman County may experience a high-impact winter weather event beginning Friday evening through the weekend, including wintry precipitation, hazardous travel, possible power outages, and dangerously cold temperatures.❄️
Now is the time to prepare.
In partnership with Cullman County EMA and United Way of Cullman County, Cullman County VOAD is sharing critical preparedness information and warming station locations to help keep our community safe.
WARMING STATIONS OPENING FRIDAY, JANUARY 23
• Vinemont Baptist Church – North Cullman (6 PM)
• Dodge City Town Hall – Basement (5 PM)
• Donald Green Center – Cullman City (7 PM–7 AM)
• Trinity Pentecostal Church – Hanceville (6 PM)
According to the National Weather Service, this system could bring ice accumulation, dangerous road conditions, and life-threatening cold, with wind chills possibly dropping into the single digits or below zero.
