There is a Moderate HeatRisk on Wednesday across much of north AL and southern middle TN with heat indices rising to 95-100F.

High chances for rain and thunderstorms are forecast Thursday and Friday with a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) for severe storms on Thursday and a Slight Risk (level 2 of 4) for excessive rainfall/flooding both Thursday and Friday.
