We are proud to congratulate Matt Christjohn on his reelection and welcome Hunter McCaghren of Danville and Trey Mann of New Hope to the Alabama Farm Credit Board of Directors. These directors were elected by voting members at our 2026 Annual Meeting.

A veterinarian and cattle producer from Wedowee, Matt Christjohn has served on the Alabama Farm Credit Board of Directors since 2005 and as Chairman of the Board since 2017.

Hunter McCaghren is a third-generation farmer and owner-operator of poultry, cattle, and hay operations in Lawrence County. His diverse agricultural background, hands-on experience in production agriculture, and strong ties to the farming community bring valuable insight and perspective to the Board.

Trey Mann is a farmer and small business owner who co-owns and operates 2M Farms, a 735-acre row crop and timber operation in Madison County. With strong roots in agriculture, along with engineering and leadership experience, Trey brings a well-rounded perspective and deep commitment to serving rural Alabama.

Thank you to our voting members for participating in the election process. We look forward to the leadership, experience, and perspectives these directors will bring as we continue serving our members and rural communities across Alabama.
