Tornado Season β Be Prepared, Not Scared!πͺοΈ
As tornado season approaches, it's crucial to be ready for severe weather events like tornadoes, floods, strong winds, and hail. In partnership with Cullman County EMA and United Way of Cullman County, we are here to help you prepare! Hereβs a checklist to ensure your household is ready:

Emergency Kit:
- Flashlights (with extra batteries)
- First aid kit
- Portable phone charger
- Non-perishable food and water (enough for 72 hours)
- Whistle (to signal for help)
- Multi-tool or Swiss Army knife

Safety Gear:
- Helmets (to protect your head from debris)
- Sturdy shoes (in case you need to walk through debris)
- Rain gear (to stay dry during storms)

Important Documents:
- Copies of important documents (ID, insurance, medical records)
