PREP BASEBALL
Cullman’s Jonah Inman earned a spot on this year’s Super All-State team, announced by the Alabama Sports Writers Association — of which The Times is a voting member — on Sunday.
Inman, who recently secured Class 6A Hitter of the Year honors, compiled a .375 average, .493 on-base percentage and 1.310 OPS to go along with 45 hits, 42 RBIs, 39 runs, 24 walks, 12 home runs, nine doubles, seven stolen bases and four triples.
The Super All-State team is comprised of the top 10 players across the state regardless of classification — as voted by the ASWA.
