Hi, I’m Jim Kozlowski, and I manage MobileNexus Corporation where we have introduced the Mobile Nexus Nearby service which implements this for any business at modest cost. The concept is a well known technique called Location Based Marketing which has been only used in a few very expensive, national branded mobile apps.

Customers get a notification message if they dwell at least 30 seconds within a geofence which is an invisible circle about 600 feet in radius centered on the favorited business. Customers only get a specific message once until a new message is created.

The success of getting your customers to subscribe to your business as their favorite does depend upon your subscribing business marketing efforts.

1) Mobile Nexus Nearby needs to be integrated into all your other marketing efforts to encourage your customers to get the app and subscribe to your business as their favorite. Your success with this service is totally dependent upon your customer service personnel encouraging customer participation.
2) You must prominently display the Mobile Nexus Nearby placard to promote understanding and usage of Mobile Nexus Nearby as well as easily subscribing to your business.
a. The placard shows a simple graphic of businesses with circular geofences to explain the concept.
b. One can use their smartphone camera to scan the small QR code on the bottom right of the placard to easily download, install, and sign up via email address.
c. One can then using the Mobile Nexus Nearby app to one-touch subscribe to your business as a favorite by scanning the large QR code on the placard.
