Some deals are sprints, this one was a MARATHON! I met my clients in April of this year. We saw A LOT of houses. We spent time trying to get a short sale to the closing table. Then they were side tracked with a FSBO where the seller wanted an earnest money deposit of 27% of the purchase price. Then we saw A LOT MORE houses. We finally went under contract on this house! From there we jumped hurdles with a gas leak and lender requirements. We FINALLY made it to the closing table yesterday.
