In addition to fighting taxes through the initiative process, we have endorsed and supported countless candidates over the years, who agree that our Oregon government can, and should, do more with less. Revamped in 2014, Executive Director Jacob Daniels involved the Taxpayer Defense Project in two contested Republican primaries in 2014. Each of the candidates supported by the Taxpayer Defense Project were successful. In the 2014 Oregon general election, the Taxpayer Defense Project supported 3 House and Senate candidates who believe that Oregon government can, and should, do more with less. All 3 candidates were successfully elected.
