🌀 Hurricane Season Is Here — Is Your Pet Ready Too? 🐾

Summer in Florida means sunshine, beach days… and hurricane season. While we prepare our homes and families, it’s just as important to have a plan for our pets in case of an emergency evacuation.

Here are a few simple ways to keep your furry family members safe and prepared:

🐶 Stock up on at least 5–7 days of pet food & fresh water
🐱 Keep medications and supplements in a waterproof container
📋 Have copies of vaccination records and important documents ready
🦴 Pack comfort items like favorite treats, toys, or blankets
🔋 Don’t forget leashes, harnesses, carriers, and food bowls
📍 Make sure ID tags and microchip information are current

Freeze-dried and canned foods are excellent emergency options because they store easily, travel well, and can be quickly packed into your pet’s “Hurricane Box.”
