. Working as a full-time nurse, she completed a rigorous Master Program at UMDNJ to obtain her degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Due to her love for dermatology, she completed a dermatology fellowship at Skin Laser and Surgery Specialists of Hackensack, New Jersey. As she gained knowledge and expertise in dermatological conditions and cosmetic procedures, she went on to work for The Dermatology Group of West Orange and Cosmetic Skin of Old Bridge, NJ. After years of treating patients, she decided to complete her dermatology certification, open her own dermatology practice and obtain the highest degree as a nurse practitioner. She received her Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice from Wilkes University. Dr. Michelle Itidiare specializes in medical dermatology and cosmetic treatments for all ethnicities and ages. She is committed to personalizing each treatment for each individual patient, tailored to their specific needs. In her leisure time, she attends dermatology conferences, enjoys teaching nurses and medical students how to perform CPR while spending ample time with family and friends.

Nurse Practitioners differ from physicians who are credentialed as MD or DO. Nurse Practitioners also differ from Physician Assistants (PAs), who require direct supervision from a physician under New Jersey state law. Since nurse practitioners can practice independently, they are found throughout various healthcare settings. They work in hospitals, private practices, surgical centers, long-term care facilities, urgent care clinics, your everyday CVS and their very own medical practices.
