As America celebrates its 250th birthday, we're partnering with Slidell Ladies for Liberty to send Buddy Check Bakery chocolate chip cookies to our troops serving overseas.

I still remember how much care packages lifted everyone's spirits. For a few moments, they brought us back home and reminded us that people were thinking about us.

That's what we hope these cookies will do.

For many of our troops, holidays and celebrations are spent away from family and friends. A simple box of cookies can be a reminder that people back home appreciate their sacrifice.
