Green Dot GC/KY works with high schools, colleges, and community members in the Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Buffalo Trace areas to reduce violence. We know that in our community and schools, violence is happening and the numbers are way too high. Every time someone uses their words, choices, and behaviors to contribute to violence in our community, a red dot is added to our map. The

The Green Dot Team is at our annual retreat, which of course means some shenanigans. This year’s includes speed cake-decorating. See the results below and help us crown a victor by voting Thursday morning at 9:00am!

Just because school is out for the summer doesn't mean Green Dot Covington slows down! ☀️💚
The past few weeks have been packed with prevention work across our community. We've had the opportunity to facilitate multiple hospitality-focused Green Dot trainings with local bars and restaurants, helping create safer spaces for both staff and patrons.
We also hosted our very first Green Dot City Government training with the City of Covington! We're excited to continue building partnerships and empowering community members to recognize and respond to situations that could lead to violence. To top it all off, our team recently attended a Prevention Summit in Lexington, where we connected with other prevention professionals, shared ideas, and brought back new tools to strengthen our work.
Summer may mean fewer classrooms, but prevention doesn't take a vacation. We're grateful for every opportunity to spread Green Dots throughout our community! 💚

Our friends at Green Dot Maysville will be hosting their annual Pet Pageant on July 4th, 2026! Your pet can win prizes for having the best costume, being the most unique/exotic, and doing the best trick. They will be so happy to see you there! 🐶❤🐱
