I have spent more than three decades in the academic world, serving as college lecturer, seminary professor, field archaeologist, and dean. My focus is the Biblical text and world, a quest that takes me regularly to lands both ancient and classical. I currently work as director of the organization, Bible Land Explorer, and as instructor for the Jerusalem Center for Biblical Studies (JCBS).
