Yá'át'ééh abiní. I missed the sunrise this morning but was greeted with this view when I walked into the airport to check in for my flight. I'm looking forward to the next 3 days in Covington KY speaking at the CCHF (Christian Community Health Fellowship) 2026 Conference. Walk in beauty my relatives.

Yá'át'ééh abiní. Since giving up caffeine over 2 months ago I've begun waking up around 5 am most mornings. Not on purpose, it's just when my body wakes up. Doesn't even matter if I go to bed late, I'm still wide awake at 5 am on a regular basis. So instead of fighting it, I'm leaning into it. These past two nights I've gotten to bed by 10:45 pm, which, if you know me is pretty early. But instead of trying to go back to sleep when I wake up, I just get up. So it's now 7:30 AM and I've already enjoyed a cup of herbal tea, did some stretching exercises, wrote for 45 minutes, went for a run (too cloudy to watch the sunrise) and got cleaned up and dressed for the day. Did pretty much the same thing yesterday. Feeling good. Getting to bed before 11 pm requires a lot of intentionality on my part, but I think I might enjoy this new rhythm.
