This week, I watched several young children walking to school without coats — and it broke my heart. 💔

Each year, H.E.R Project INC. sponsors children with toys for the holidays, but this year the greatest need is warm coats, food, and basic necessities. Many families have reached out, unable to provide these essentials for their children.

We’re asking our community, friends, and partners to come together in kindness this season.

Help Us Give Every Child a Christmas This Holiday Season

The holiday season is upon us, and for many families in Henry and Newton Counties, it brings more hardship than joy. At H.E.R. Project INC., we believe that no child should go without the warmth, care, or excitement that this special time of year brings. That’s why we’re hosting our Annual Christmas Toy Giveaway and Holiday Donation Drive, dedicated to providing toys, coats, and essentials to local children and families in need.

We are seeking donations and sponsorships to help make this year’s mission a success. Every contribution—large or small—helps bring comfort, dignity, and joy to our community.

We are collecting:

- Toys (all ages, including for children 10 and older)
- Gift Cards (for teens and families)
- New or Gently Used Coats (all sizes)
- New Underclothes and Socks
- Warm Hats and Winter Accessories

All proceeds and items collected will go directly to children and families identified through our local outreach programs.
