What’s this? Mulligan by Boy Bandicoot at Plaid Room Records you say? Why yes it is!

Part of me wants to gatekeep this store because I’ve found SO MUCH good stuff there (including two RSD titles that were sold out everywhere else) but I am anti-gatekeeping so you get in on the secret too. Find Mulligan vinyl on their website and in store! ⛳️

Been going to shows at Madison since 2009. A lot more in the past 2 years, but it’s a pretty big part of our concert-going history. Went back into some old photo albums to find some of my favorite memories.

1 and 2: Of Montreal and Janelle Monáe in 2010 (which kind of kills the “not a phone in sight” theory because we were all taking photos with our crappy point and shoot cameras lol

5. coastal club featuring my favorite picture of Avery Benter I’ve ever taken
6. The first The Silkies show I went to

Local indie/alt-rocker Boy Bandicoot dropped off the new lp. Cd, and cassette today! Pick it up if fuzzy synth alt pop!

I am “seeing the same artist more than 15 times” kind of crazy (in my defense he sidequests too much) but I think I draw the line at standing outside for… TEN HOURS?! That’s too much for me.

This was fun, there’s a blank one if you want to play. Most of the squares I crossed out were for Cincinnati bands 💪🏼 feel free to ask (or guess) the bands that they were.
