As professional cleaners, we couldn’t resist taking a closer look at the new Bath & Body Works Kitchen Counter Sprays.

Our take:
⭐ They smell AMAZING. If you love Bath & Body Works fragrances, your kitchen will too!

But here’s what we found…

✅ They are designed to cut through light grease and everyday grime, making them great for quick wipe-downs and daily maintenance. They’re also marketed as safe for most household surfaces and are made without parabens, phthalates, or dyes. (Bath & Body Works⁠)

❌ They are NOT disinfectants or sanitizers. We found no EPA disinfectant registration or antimicrobial claims, which means they aren’t intended to kill bacteria or viruses like a true disinfecting cleaner. If you’re cleaning up after raw meat, illness, or need to sanitize food prep areas, you’ll still want to reach for a product specifically labeled as a disinfectant. (Bath & Body Works⁠)

Our professional opinion:
Think of these as a luxury finishing spray rather than a heavy-duty cleaner. They’re perfect for keeping counters looking and smelling fresh between deeper cleanings, but they aren’t a replacement for a quality disinfectant when sanitation matters.
