Sometimes you’ve got to go against what you believe and know in life. First Alcohol is never the answer, second in the automotive world never never double gasket anything.
Well in this case alcohol is the answer and double gasket is a must.
Running down the road in my diesel and start to loose power due too a lack of exhaust pressure driving the turbo. We get stopped for the night and investigate the problem. As expected I blew an exhaust gasket. Not having parts close I chose to dumpster dive for a can to make a gasket and wouldn’t you know it, being down south the only can in the trash was a beer can. So alcohol to the rescue! Being so thin I had enough to make two. Now we are fkn some stuff up. As usual I packed plenty of tools and all went well. I’m thankful for the knowledge and ingenuity to GET R DONE!!
