A look back on 25 years.

In Kern County, PGPR supported a bilingual coalition of local leaders and statewide advocates working to challenge plans for tens of thousands of new wells and push for a more just, sustainable future.

Through strategic communications, media outreach, and coalition coordination, we helped elevate community voices in a space often dominated by industry. At key public hearings, those voices showed up and outnumbered industry representatives ten to one.

In 2021, the Kern County Superior Court ruling on oil and gas ordinance required the County to halt approvals and address major environmental and public health concerns.
