Dear Friends,

It feels like just yesterday when we launched Conscious Commons, dreaming of creating an oasis in the digital realm that would prioritize depth, understanding, and connection over the noise of the digital world. Today, I write to you with a heavy heart to share some challenging news.

While we had high hopes that our unique approach - choosing optional subscriptions over advertising - would pave the way for a sustainable business model, the reality is that we embarked on this journey without sufficient cash reserves to reach the point of profitability. As a result, and after much reflection, I have come to the difficult decision to close Conscious Commons.

Our final day together here will be on September 1st.

To those who saw the vision and supported us with the $7 monthly subscription, I genuinely thank you. No further payments will be deducted, and prorated refunds for the remaining period will be initiated for annual subscribers over the next 3 weeks.

Thank you to those of you that we have considered thought leaders and community superstars who chose to commit your time and energy to bringing our mission and community to life. Your presence here is what has created such an incredibly welcoming and beautiful community.

I deeply acknowledge the sense of belonging and community that many of you have discovered within Conscious Commons. It weighs heavily on my heart that we cannot journey further together in this space. Please know that the decision wasn't made lightly, and I am profoundly grateful for the moments shared here.

I cherish the discussions and the community spirit we’ve fostered, albeit briefly. As we wind down, I hope we can retain those insights and memories and hope to bring the lessons learned into the light of other communities we are all a part of.
