This week's Founder Diaries is one of the most personal pieces I've ever written.

Over the past week, I was reminded that caring for others isn't always about fixing every problem. Sometimes it's about showing up, listening, and choosing compassion when life doesn't go as planned.

That lesson doesn't just apply to my family—it is the very reason Giving 365 exists.

Every family we serve has a story. Every caregiver is carrying something we may never fully see. Every act of kindness creates space for hope.

Volunteer Spotlight: Serving Together, Growing Together

Today, we're celebrating some very special volunteers who remind us that the heart of community starts young.

These amazing kids recently designed our Backpack Drive flyer, using their creativity to support local students and families. But their impact doesn't stop there. Most weeks, they join their mom at our Mobile Pantry, helping pack bags, distribute food, and welcome families with smiles and servant hearts.

They are learning that giving back isn't just something we do once in a while—it's a way of caring for the people around us and strengthening our community together.

Watching families serve side by side is a beautiful reminder that compassion, kindness, and generosity can be passed from one generation to the next.

The Power of Us in Action

This weekend, Giving 365 served 44 families representing 208 individuals through our Mobile Pantry program.

What stood out most was that 26 of those families were visiting us for the very first time.

While we are grateful to be a resource for our community, the number of new families seeking food support reminds us that the need continues to grow.

Each bag of food represents more than groceries. It represents relief for a parent, support for a senior, and hope for a family facing difficult choices.

Thank you to every volunteer, donor, partner, and supporter who makes this work possible. Because of you, families are finding food, encouragement, and community when they need it most.
