Dear Friends,
I am writing in regards to an invitation I would like to extend to you and your office to attend the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony commemorating the installation of the city of Corona’s first grid tied solar bus shelter. The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony is scheduled for July 27,2010 at 9:00 am.
Corona has taken the historical step of becoming the leader in promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy through the installation of a ground mounted, grid tied, solar bus shelter that produces over one (1) kilowatt of power. This bus shelter will help supplement the energy consumed by the signal intersection that was recently installed at Main Street and Old Mill Road.
This Solar Bus Shelter, aptly named “The Corona”, was designed and manufactured here in Corona, California. What better way to celebrate and promote “Green Industry” in California, then to be at our event? Attached is a picture of the newly installed bus shelter at the City’s Fourth of July Celebration and Parade. I look forward to hearing from you.
