Cornelius-Lemley Fire Rescue is an incorporated Fire Department that contracts with the Town of Cornelius to provide fire, rescue and first response service to the town and its extra territorial jurisdiction.

We had a great time teaching children about fire safety today at the Towns annual Lake Safety camp!
We even caught one of our friends in blue taking a look inside of Engine 4 to see what it’s like. 😉 Applications will be open soon, sir!

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there, especially our Cornelius Firemen who are Fathers!
We would also like to give a special Happy Father’s Day wish to two of our brand new fathers! Capt. George "Obbie" Ross IV and FF Daniel Forrest who welcomed their first born children into the world. Lt. Chris Clark and FF Jason Sendlewski also both added to their beautiful families since our last Father’s Day!
Crews on duty today enjoyed a nice brunch with their families this morning at Firehouse 1. We appreciate your dedication to our department but we are more proud of all of your best accomplishments, being great fathers.
