Troy Alexander Gilmore

A service to celebrate the life of Troy Gilmore, 87, will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in Henry Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Troy passed away on July 6, 2026 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born on April 15, 1939 in Mooreville, MS as the fourth of eight children to the late William Issac (Wid) and Nora McCrary Gilmore.

Troy moved back to Corinth early in his teen years after living all around the mid-south. He started driving a truck in the 1950's. His handle was "Trailblazer" and drove over 20 years for Horton Bros. Trucking Company as well as some other trucking companies. He is a member of Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church and loved attending church. He was a member of the Tri-state Flywheeler Antique Tractor Club and he enjoyed camping and traveling with his family. He was a friend to all and of all ages and will be missed by those who knew him.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Bess Gilmore; and brothers, Carroll, Jimmy, Johnny, Jerry, Terry and Mac; and a sister Betty Jo Maness.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Rowland (Greg); son, Tommy Gilmore (Sandra); grandchildren,Leah Katherine Hadder, Shelby McCrary (John), Matthew Rowland and Alexander Rowland; great-grandchild, Peter McCrary; brother in law, Joe South; sisters in law, Bettie Gilmore, Sharon Gilmore, Jo South, Sylvia Suitor and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Bro. Larry George will officiate the services.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of Troy Gilmore to Angel Cam at www.angelcharity.org/donate/. This is to allow families to see children that are in the NICU unit.

William “Bill” Lott

Services to celebrate the life of William "Bill" Lott, 89, will be held at 12 PM on Friday June 26, 2026 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial and military honors to be held at the Corinth National Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home.

Bill passed away on June 24, 2026 at Dogwood Assisted Living. He was born on December 12, 1936 in Memphis to the late Otis Sr. and Hettie Wheeler Lott. After graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he was honorably discharged. He worked in the printing business as a printer. He was an active member and song leader at Tuscumbia Baptist Church and enjoyed singing with the Tate Baptist Adult Senior Choir. In his younger years he enjoyed collecting and shooting guns and riding his motorcycle. Bill was a faithful servant of the Lord and always freely shared that with others.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Butler Lott; son, Billy Ray Lott and his brother, Otis Lott, Jr.

He is survived by his daughter, Carol Lott (Robert Maloney); granddaughters, Amanda Lott (Wes Milligan), Angie Brock (Pat) and Stephanie Shaw; great-grandchildren, Cameron Maness, Kyle Butler, Brett Montgomery, Jacob Brock (Sarah), Jordan Brock; great-great grandchild, Bennett Brock and a host of other family and friends.

Bro. Rodney Whittemore and Bro. Brantson Vuncannon will officiate the services.

Pallbearers will be Randy Swindle, Chuck Jones, Danny Bullock, Stanley Horton, Dr. Darwin Wooten and Larry Shaw.
