The Kossuth Fire Department is currently conducting a fundraiser to help support the community storm shelter project. Your support will help strengthen severe weather protection for our community and families.

It is with heavy hearts that we extend our thoughts and prayers to the Churchill family during this difficult time following the passing of Mr. Monroe Churchill.

Mr. Churchill dedicated his life to the fire service and his community, serving 18 years as Fire Chief of the Ecru Fire Department in Pontotoc County and 16 years as Assistant Chief. His leadership, service, and commitment to protecting others left a lasting impact on countless lives and will not be forgotten.

We lift up his son, FF Fred Churchill, who continues that legacy of service as a member of the Wenasoga Fire Department and Glen Fire Department here in Alcorn County.
