Carolina a high-energy professional with a strong expertise in international development, with a special focus on international marketing and business development, with a proven ability to engage with members of the public and private sector, locally, statewide and internationally. Consistently recognized for contributions in development and marketing efforts, with attention to detail, strong project management skills and developing long-standing professional relationships over her 34-year career. Served as the Chairman of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce also served for 6 years as Chair of their International Division, instrumental in the outbound and inbound missions. Served as the Chair of International for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, also served on the Board of Directors and Executive Board. Served as the President of the Global Workspace Trade Association (2-year term) a membership of over 5000 workspaces worldwide and managed to bring that conference to Miami. Served on the Board of the Beacon Council – As Board Member/Executive Board/Officer’s Board, serving one year as Treasurer and one year as Secretary/also chaired their International Committee. Serve on the Executive Board of Directors for the Sister-Cities Organization in Washington, DC – Chair the International/Entrepreneurship Panel. Serve as the Chair of the IACC Board for the City of Coral Gables (Sister-Cities). VP of the NAPW/Coral Gables Chapter (National Association of Professional Women. Serve on the Board of the Coral Gables, Business Improvement District, - co-chair the Marketing committee. Serve on the Advisory Board for BBandT Bank. Serve on the Advisory Board for Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE). Chaired the International Press night for Super Bowl 2007 at the Vizcaya with a 25K budget , received an additional 75K in-kind sponsorship.
