Derrick Wu has been awarded First Prize in the Marc J. & Kathryn S. Hebda Senior Piano Solo Competition! Derrick earned this distinction in one of the Florida State Music Teachers Association’s most prestigious piano competitions for high school pianists. The Hebda Senior Piano Solo Competition is open to outstanding young musicians from the State of Florida, challenging participants to present highly refined and artistically mature performances from the standard piano repertoire. This is the best present we could receive from Derrick as he transitions to college next year! Bravo Derrick!
