The City of Coppell has been notified that a positive mosquito sample for West Nile Virus was found near your neighborhood. Dallas County trucks will conduct ground spraying on your street during the evening hours on Tuesday, July 26 and Wednesday, July 27. All spraying will take place between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., weather conditions permitting. If weather conditions are not conducive for spraying, then trucks will conduct ground spraying the next available evening in order to complete the required applications.
Humans and pets should avoid direct contact with the spray by remaining indoors as the truck passes.
Please continue to help eliminate standing/stagnant water from containers and low-lying areas in and around your home and business. By naturally reducing mosquito populations you also help to limit the amount of chemical pesticides needed to combat West Nile Virus.
Additional information about West Nile virus, prevention tips, and a map denoting the entire spray area can be found by visiting http://coppelltx.gov/wnv.

Hi Friends!
I just wanted to let you know about a fun event this weekend! It is the Chili & Dogs Fall Festival at my church! The event consists of:
• A Dog Party (it is next to the new Coppell Dog Park – dress up your pooch, show off his tricks or how much you look alike!)
• A chili cook-off (members are competing with their favorite recipes)
• A Pickers Patch (someone else’s used item, may be your treasure!),
• Fall Pictures – family, with your pet, fall scenery – you can have your Christmas cards done early!!
Looks like the weather will hold and it will be a great day to bring your dog, your kids, a picnic blanket or a lawn chair and enjoy the day. Food, music, games, face painting and more. Hope you can make it!

Thanks,
Linda Leach
PS: Let me know if you would like to donate items for the rummage sale. We will arrange for pick ups if needed. Proceeds will go to various community needs. Tax deduction form available.
